Yesterday, that trigger was pulled again in Australia at Bondi Beach, as well as in other Hanukkah-related attacks worldwide. Unfortunately, the Prime Minister attempted to divert attention by announcing more gun control measures, which I view as a form of national victim disarmament. As a retired police officer, I advocate for the establishment of a National Civil Defence Act modelled after the Swift framework.
Additionally, according to the HAMA hard-copy charter, not only Jews and Christians, but also members of the Lions Club, Rotary, and the Freemasons ! The price of love is grief, and the greatest price has been paid by the Jewish community. The only positive omen, is the Muslim man that tried to stop the killers. We may not agree with each other but we are excepted to be tolerant of each other’s culture. Tolerance has tipping point.
